How To Turn Off Sticky Keys

Sticky Keys is a feature that allows the user to complete combination keyboard commands without having to press several keys at once.

When the feature is enabled it will allow you to issue keyboard commands by pressing the buttons one after another, rather than at the same time.

For example, if you wanted to use the copy function which is accessed by pressing the ‘Crtl’ and ‘C’ keys at the same time, Sticky Keys will allow you to activate this command by first pressing ‘Ctrl’, and then pressing ‘C’ after.

This feature was introduced for those looking to avoid RSI (repetitive strain injury) or those with a physical disability.

It does, however, cause some problems for those who make heavy use of the shift key (such as gamers) as that can activate the feature unintentionally.
